Meteonorm is comprehensive meteorological reference, incorporating a catalogue of meteorological data and calculation procedures for solar applications and system design at any desired location in the world. Meteonorm 7 is mainly a climate database combined with a weather generator. It delivers typical meteorological years for any site. Meteonorm 7 is based on more than 30 years of experience in the development of meteorological databases for energy applications. Main data periods are 1991-2010 for radiation parameters and 2000-2009 for temperature, humidity, wind speed and all further parameters. Radiation data is based on an optimised mixture of ground and satellite based measurements.
